About Us

Amid all his achievements, Greg cherishes his family above all—his wife of over 33 years, Delores Evers, and their two children, Courtney and Jonathan. Greg was born and raised in Cambria Heights, New York. Influenced greatly by his parents and their love for ministry and community, Greg began his life of servitude from an early age. This journey has led him to serve in many parts of ministry. He chairs the Executive Board of Evangel, and his service spans over 30 years, with deep roots in the Jamaica section of Queens, New York.

In 2015, Elder Greg was asked to take the baton and lead the church, with a clear vision and community devotion; it was confirmed in his spirit. In August 2016, he was ordained as the third Pastor of Evangel Temple, Inc. He honors the legacy of his father, the late Bishop Frankie L. Evers. He upholds the leadership of his mother, Bishop Alice L. Evers.

Greg has developed workshops and seminars on leadership and relationships while actively mentoring and coaching young entrepreneurs with “The John Maxwell Team”.

His passion for developing leadership/character principles led him to join a teenage suicide company; He’s been presenting that curriculum to schools, camps, detention centers, and churches.

In 2013, Greg was awarded his Chaplaincy license as a Kingdom Ambassador representing the United Nations. 

He is the spiritual architect and creative strategist devoted to equipping church leaders for sustainable, Spirit-led impact. Through immersive podcast series and practical ministry tools, he blends biblical depth with creative clarity—unlocking daily rhythms of leadership that restore, refocus, and reignite. His vision is simple but bold: to build a generation of leaders who lead with both heart and structure, rooted in truth and activated by purpose.
